Summary

The commander of Wang Ji's army, upon discovering the Guandou army forcing military slaves to fill ditches, decides to attack the enemy while they are unprepared. He orders his left and right armies to attack the enemy while he leads the main force to break through the enemy's defenses and connect with the Xiahou clan's camp. The Guandou army is caught off guard and falls victim to the commander's blade. The commander's troops break through the Guandou defenses, and the left and right armies join the fray, driving the disoriented Guandou soldiers back. The commander reaches the western gate of the Xiahou camp and calls out to the guards, who open the gates to welcome him. The Guandou army launches a counterattack, but the Celestial Empire's troops retreat safely into the Xiahou camp under the cover of archers and heavy cavalry. The battle results in the Celestial Empire's losses being under one hundred, while the Guandou army suffers nearly a thousand casualties and loses over a thousand military slaves. The military slaves are taken into the Xiahou camp, and some are integrated into the Xiahou ranks to bolster their numbers. The Xiahou defense meets with the commander of Wang Ji and is informed that reinforcements from Tietou Town have arrived and that the leader of the Ji clan has persuaded the Wei clan to ally with the Celestial Empire, preparing to counterattack the Yi Di Qin Zu Lian Meng forces.
