Summary

In a tense confrontation on the 52nd floor of the White Lake Building, Lilia unleashes a devastating red death ray, melting the upper floors but leaving the Awakeners unharmed within an absolute defense barrier. The Kirin, Long, and X exit the barrier, preparing to face Lilia, who observes them calmly. As they engage, Kirin uses illusions to turn the beasts against each other, while Long demonstrates his power to instill submission. The Plague Knight's toxic wind decimates many beasts. As the trio approaches Lilia, they question her motives, leading to her unexpected admission of the burdens of humanity.
