Summary

Chu Feng is frustrated by Xuan Yuan's absence during a crisis where the Black Toad King threatens the disciples of the Supreme Mountain Manor. The Black Toad King captures a woman to find Zi Ling, whom he desires. To save herself, the woman betrays Zi Ling, pointing her out to the Black Toad King. As he expresses his interest in Zi Ling, she prepares to unleash her powers. Just then, Chu Feng steps forward, boldly challenging the Black Toad King and risking his life for her. Despite warnings from his friends, Chu Feng remains resolute, betting on Xuan Yuan's intervention. The Black Toad King attacks Chu Feng, inflicting serious injury, but Chu Feng maintains his defiance, provoking the demon king further. The chapter ends with the Black Toad King revealing a grotesque worm, hinting at more torment to come.
