Summary

Li Yan Qing encounters a group of soldiers led by Governor Zhang Huan, who expresses gratitude for Li's defeat of the notorious bandit leader, Jia Jin. Despite the recognition, Li Yan Qing insists on maintaining military protocol and not taking personal credit for the victory. After parting ways with his companion Yang Liang, who returns home, Li Yan Qing arrives at Tang Yin County, noticing increased military presence. He is recognized by local soldiers as the famed archer, Li Tan Hua, and they show him respect. Li Yan Qing enters the county with the intention of visiting his friend Zhou Chun, who is now a county lieutenant. Upon meeting Zhou, they discuss personal matters, including Zhou's impending fatherhood and past matchmaking attempts, before heading to Zhou's home for a drink.
