Summary

As he travels north, he reflects on the plight of refugees and his unique abilities. Along the way, he encounters a Turkic caravan, which he plunders, earning the ire of the locals. He meets Zhao Ru Xi, a Daoist from the Golden Summit Temple, who is surprised by their resemblance. They discuss their backgrounds, and Zhang Bai Ren invites Zhao Ru Xi to join him on his journey to Zhuo County, leading to an unexpected alliance.
