Summary

Mei Lun and Sa Li Mu investigate Mr. Ni Ya's home, suspecting his memories about his missing daughter, Se Wei Ya, may be fabricated. They find his home disorganized and his daughter's room filled with new clothes and a strange odor. As they search, Mei Lun's sensing brooch indicates a possible supernatural presence. They discover Mr. Ni Ya is an artist who uses his own blood to enhance his paintings, explaining the blood smell in the basement. After leaving, they realize Mr. Ni Ya's food purchases suggest he may be harboring something parasitic. Upon returning to his home, they find an overwhelming scent of blood and a glowing light. Sa Li Mu transforms into a knight-like figure, ready to confront the situation as Mr. Ni Ya is revealed to be in a horrific state, consumed by a blood-colored mass.
