Summary

After Uncle Nan Shan became the new ruler of the Ji Clan, he reported to the court about the chaos caused by the former great lord's rebellion, which had been quelled by court troops. Yi, surprised by the news, accepted it due to tribal customs and sent congratulations and gifts to the new ruler while secretly investigating the situation. A guard from the Tao clan learned that the former great lord had fled to the Ying Clan and reported back to Yi. Yi then convened his officials to strategize on connecting with the Ying Clan to protect the great lord and hold Qi accountable for his actions. However, a spy in Yi's guard informed Qi about the plan, prompting Qi and Dayu to devise a scheme to eliminate Yi's support among the tribes. They aimed to isolate Yi and force him to abdicate by targeting tribes loyal to him. The advisors expressed confidence in their strategy to undermine Yi's power.
