Summary

In a perilous tomb, the narrator escapes a massive horde of ghost-faced monkeys while Guang Ren sacrifices himself to hold them back. Using crystal markers, they cross a dangerous ghost pool where many of Diao Yuan Long's subordinates perish. The narrator uses two short swords to combat the endless monkey swarm, eventually blocking the passage with their corpses. After sealing the bronze platform, they regroup with Sun Pang Zi and others, who attempt to blow open stone doors with limited explosives, but fail. The group remains trapped, hoping for rescue from Zhang Zhi Yan and Meng Qi Qi.
