Chapter 37: Hot Spring. [135]
Summary
Meng Qi Qi and the group entered a cave, navigating through a gourd-shaped chamber filled with crystal mines, which became increasingly humid and hot. As they pressed on, they shed their coats in discomfort, anticipating a hot spring. After a lengthy trek, they discovered a vast hot spring emitting blue light, but concerns arose over its safety. Sun Pang Zi expressed fears of radiation, while Huang Ran reassured the group of no immediate danger. However, as they observed strange behavior of the spring when a crystal was tossed in, the water began to drain rapidly, plunging the cave into darkness. Tension mounted as Meng Qi Qi warned of an impending danger, prompting the group to retreat.Full content
