Summary

Xu Yi Tian and Chen Gui Shuo felt relief at their release but were soon troubled by Niu You Dao's knowledge of secrets revealed by Song Yan Qing. After a violent confrontation, Xu Yi Tian was killed by Yuan Gang, leaving Chen Gui Shuo terrified and unable to escape. The group buried over 30 fallen guards, while Shang Shu Qing sought to persuade Yuan Gang to stay, believing he could help. Yuan Gang, however, insisted he would only remain if Niu You Dao did. Despite Shang Shu Qing's efforts to convince him, Yuan Gang remained steadfast, hinting at Niu You Dao's deeper motivations. This left Shang Shu Qing hopeful yet uncertain about how to approach Niu You Dao.
