Summary

Mumu, despite her stinginess, decides to share a portion of a fried egg she bought, but only reluctantly. Gu Zheng, observing her tiny division, insists on a fairer cut, giving her a third instead of a minuscule piece. A young boy, who came to help Mumu, is grateful for Gu Zheng's intervention, as he initially feared he would receive nothing. After tasting the egg, he regrets not purchasing one himself, feeling envious of Mumu's enjoyment. Mumu later calls a friend to help her buy another egg, sharing more generously this time. Gu Zheng, satisfied with the day's sales, prepares to leave, reflecting on his efforts to improve his strength.
