Summary

Su Ru Mei and her caravan from Wanbao Tower encounter an unexpected bamboo grove blocking their path in the Tianqi Mountain Range. Despite the potential danger, her subordinates are reluctant to scout the area. Su Ru Mei decides to send Gu Xiu, a cultivator who has been in the carriage, into the grove to investigate. As Gu Xiu enters the bamboo forest, he remains unfazed by the mocking remarks from other cultivators. Suddenly, the bamboo grove reveals itself to be a formation, trapping the caravan. Su Ru Mei realizes they are in the Green Bamboo Trapping Dragon Formation, which has been set up to isolate and attack them. Just as they contemplate their dire situation, the bamboos begin to wither rapidly, collapsing the formation. Gu Xiu, in white clothing, calmly walks towards them as the bamboos turn to ashes.
