Summary

Ming Feng Qiu comforts the timid child Qi Er, who has a dark birthmark and is visibly distressed. After wrapping him in a cloak, they head to the government office where a banquet is held by the Li Family, but Qi Er is absent and unnoticed. Later, Li Ming Qi discusses the failure to retrieve a valuable item with Wang Dong Ming, a martial arts protector. Wang Dong Ming reports that the item was destroyed, and expresses concern for Qi Er's safety. The child, referred to as Shi Zi, prioritizes his safety over the lost item. The next day, they leave for the county, where Wang Dong Ming is instructed to gather information about the Ming Family and the child, as well as to keep quiet about recent events.
