Summary

Mei Lun accepts a challenge in the Eternal Arena and faces a mantis monster. As a mechanical Garu summons powerful mechanical giant wolves to combat the mantis bugs, the mantis responds with a massive swarm of various insects, overwhelming the mechanical forces. Despite the initial advantage of the mechanical wolves, they are quickly encircled and decimated by the coordinated insect attacks. Mei Lun, unfazed, reflects on his powerful profession, "Source Energy Master," and considers using his secret technique, "Summon: Mechanical God Gaia." As the battle intensifies, Mei Lun reveals the Void Doggie, a colossal creature that wreaks havoc on the insect swarm, leading to a significant victory. After the battlefield collapses, Mei Lun collects victory points and encounters Victor, the master of the insect swarm, who is trapped in an illusion created by Mei Lun's companion, Liu Li. Mei Lun challenges Victor and defeats him effortlessly, gaining a substantial amount of victory points. Afterward, Mei Lun discovers an insect hive within Victor's remains, which he plans to use to enhance his own Doggies. He reflects on his ambitions to contract powerful companions with the powers of time and destiny, hoping to alleviate some burdens from his father related to destiny.
