Chapter 368: Won Three Games in a Row!. [368]

Summary

The poem "Mooring at Qinhuai" by Du Mu captures the author's feelings at the time of mooring at Qinhuai. It describes the night scene and expresses lamentations and satire towards the rulers who are ignorant of the lessons to be learned and indulge in a life of luxury and leisure. Zhang Ye uses this poem to win the second round of the calligraphy competition. Zhang Ye and Wu Ze Qing discuss their strategy for the next round, while Master Wei's team is concerned about Zhang Ye's mastery of classical poetry. The third round begins with the topic of writing a seven-character poem that includes the word "lychee." Yang Zhu Ren from Master Wei's team volunteers to write, but Zhang Ye surprises everyone by writing another poem by Du Mu, "Passing by the Huaqing Palace," in Wang Xi Zhi's cursive script.
