Summary

In a supernatural encounter, the narrator and Xiang Brother face multiple red-clothed vengeful spirits near Beijing. Protected by Buddhist prayer beads, they narrowly escape and learn from L that a spirit demon is threatening to enter the Forbidden City. The demon-catching bureau is preoccupied with internal issues, including Tian Zhao's soul resurrection. Military soldiers rescue them, transporting them and other paranormal team members to confront the threat. The truck's atmosphere is tense, with most team members frightened, except for the relaxed Qin Da Zhuang.
