Summary

Zhang Yuan and Sa Bo En engage in a battle, but before the fight, they have a conversation. Sa Bo En reveals that he is not an ordinary demon lord and that his daughter, Mei, is a powerful being with divine strength and magic. Mei is trapped in a flesh lump and is destined to become the mother of the Abyss Seed. Sa Bo En proposes a deal to Zhang Yuan, asking him to take Mei away from the Abyss and make her his summon. In return, Sa Bo En will help Zhang Yuan destroy the Abyss Factory and free the souls of the Great Xia's heroes. Zhang Yuan agrees to the deal, and Sa Bo En transforms into a bolt of purple lightning to attack him. Despite his speed, Sa Bo En is able to dodge Zhang Yuan's attacks, leading Zhang Yuan to suspect that Sa Bo En can predict the future. Sa Bo En reveals that he has the ability to retrace time, which he has used 37 times to try and defeat Zhang Yuan. However, Zhang Yuan's abilities prove to be too much for him, and he is defeated. Before his defeat, Sa Bo En reveals that his ability to retrace time comes from his daughter Mei's time magic, which has also trapped the Abyss Factory and its demons in a time loop. Zhang Yuan is surprised to learn that Mei knows time magic.
