Summary
The lord of the Ying He Bu Luo Da ordered the Goyu and Wu tribes to counterattack the new city of the Xia Jia Chao Ting in Wang Ji. The Yi clan chief, Ji clan chief, and Wei clan chief devised a plan to welcome the Ying He Bu Luo Da's return and prepare for a full-scale assault on the new city. The Yi clan chief directed the Ji and Wei clans to besiege the new city, concentrating their encampments outside the west gate. The Ying He Bu Luo Da would lead the forces of the Goyu and Wu tribes to besiege the new city, and they needed to establish a camp outside the city. The Ji clan chief proposed to camp outside the south gate, and the Yi clan chief agreed, allowing the Ji and Wei clans to camp together on the slopes outside the south gate. The campsite was chosen based on access to water, defensive structures, and supply of provisions. The Ji and Wei clan chiefs scouted the terrain and determined the best location and boundaries for their encampment.Full content
