The Cold Door Hero

Summary

Wang Gui heroically saves his comrades by kicking a thunderbolt away, but is injured in the process. As he lies unconscious, Li Yanqing takes command and organizes the defense of the Eastern City against the Xixia army's siege. The defenders, using fireballs and thunder cannons, manage to inflict heavy casualties on the attackers. Just as they gain the upper hand, the Western City faces a fire attack, prompting Zhong Shi Dao to replace its commander, Yao Zhong Ping, with Li Yanqing. Li Yanqing, now tasked with defending the Western City, rushes to the scene, while Liu Qi continues to manage the Eastern City’s defenses. Yao Zhong Ping realizes too late the importance of proper preparations for fire defense, leading to chaos in the Western City.
