Summary

In a chaotic battle, Wuse experiences a surge of mental power as he and his team confront Miao, who uses her plant-based abilities to deadly effect. Old Mo's talent, "Mocking," draws Miao in, but she counters with a surprise attack, killing him. Suzaku then activates her "Equivalent Exchange" ability, enhancing her power fivefold to fight Miao. Despite her strength, she realizes that defeating Miao is unlikely, and the team faces imminent doom as Miao prepares a final attack, trapping them in a cage of vines. The chapter ends with a sense of impending tragedy.
