Summary

Xing Jue experiences a violent tremor in space, realizing he's being pursued by a powerful dark red battle aura. As he flees, he burns his soul power to increase his speed, but the aura relentlessly follows. He spots ancient mountains and enters them, hoping to escape. Inside, he faints from the intense heat. After three days, he awakens in a thatched hut, greeted by a humanoid creature named Cong, who informs him he is in Half-Beast Village. Xing Jue learns that he was saved by the Village Chief and is intrigued by a massive statue of a handsome young man named Du Gu Chang Yi, the village's savior, evoking a sense of familiarity in him.
