Summary

The Snow Mountain is a colossal, snow-covered barrier between the northern and southern tribes, viewed as a dangerous place by the north and a sacred site by the south. Chen learns of these differing perspectives after arriving in the southern wasteland. The mountain's harsh climate and powerful demonic beasts deter anyone from exploring its depths, with legends suggesting that only the strongest beasts thrive there. Despite the dangers, Chen decides to venture into the mountain, seeking a way back to the northern tribes. Accompanied by A Tu, a black wolf, they navigate the treacherous terrain, encountering various demonic beasts but managing to progress safely. Eventually, they discover a hidden canyon deep within the mountain, characterized by sheer cliffs and a perilous path, prompting Chen to suggest resting until the snowstorm subsides.
