Summary

Cheng Dalei's bandit stronghold at Qin Chuan Pass has reached its limits and requires city development, but he hasn't received a promotion mission due to insufficient conditions. Despite this, he focuses on recuperation and gunpowder production. As he prepares to leave, Zhao Zi Long urgently informs him of a massacre outside the pass, where thirteen people from three households were brutally killed. Cheng Dalei, along with Fan Li Hua and others, returns to investigate the gruesome scene of the corpses, which reveal horrific injuries inflicted by bare hands. Realizing the ruthlessness of the attackers, Cheng Dalei decides to take action against them, dismissing the idea of sealing off the news.
