Summary

The protagonist ascends a staircase while facing increasing mental pressure and soul entities. After overcoming challenges, they break through to mid-level blue-grade mental power. As they climb higher, the pressure intensifies, and they encounter larger soul entities, including powerful serpents. Despite feeling weak, they recover and eventually reach initial purple-grade mental power. On the final steps, the protagonist faces daunting mental pressure and is tempted to give up by Zhao Qing but refuses. Surprisingly, upon stepping onto the next level, the mental pressure vanishes, signaling the completion of the second stage of the inheritance mental test, leaving the protagonist confused.
