Summary

Yan Lin, feeling stagnant, decides to seek a breakthrough through battle. He leads a troop of monkeys to confront two savage beasts, demon tigers, that threaten their clan. After a fierce struggle, Yan Lin and his companion Xiao Yan defeat the tigers. They discover a cave where Yan Lin encounters a projection of Mu Di, an ancient figure who reveals a looming calamity for the Hunyuan Continent. Mu Di explains that Yan Lin is one of his transformations and urges him to grow stronger. He gifts Yan Lin a Spirit Pearl and a coffin made from Sashu wood, hinting at their future significance in the impending crisis.
