Summary

Lu Chen admires Ding Dang's beauty as they prepare to hike to Long Lake. Despite her initial enthusiasm, Ding Dang struggles with the climb, needing frequent breaks. Lu Chen patiently supports her, and they finally reach the lake after a long journey. He warns her about a potentially dangerous fish in the lake, and although she wants to stay alone, he expresses concern for her safety. After some hesitation, she insists on staying, and Lu Chen gives her a torch for safety before heading back. As he leaves, Ding Dang feels a mix of emotions, watching him disappear down the path.
