Summary

The Wandering Brigade is in a difficult situation after KD was completely wiped out by the enemy. They are considering whether to advance or retreat, but retreating might tarnish their reputation and make it hard for them to secure future missions. Wang Chong suggests that he and Ge Lai sneak into the enemy's camp to blow up the energy cave, while the others set up defenses along the way. Despite some objections, Wang Chong and Ge Lai set out into the stormy night, using their speed and agility to navigate the swamp. Along the way, Wang Chong teaches Ge Lai a technique called the speed circuit, which allows them to increase their speed significantly. They eventually reach the campsite of the Black Rock energy cave, where they plan to infiltrate and complete their mission.
