Chapter 358: Enlightenment. [358]

Summary

Su Hun feels unease near the Bodhi tree, sensing danger and contemplating its power. He learns from the Tianhe Ancient Monument that one must approach the tree with sincerity. As he walks closer, he sees corpses and visions of those who sought enlightenment, some succeeding while others failed. He encounters a figure resembling himself, who disrespects the Bodhi tree but is not retaliated against. The tree speaks to Su Hun, confirming a connection to his past incarnation and the possibility of enlightenment. After meditating, Su Hun achieves mastery over his sword techniques and elevates his strength. He questions the nature of sainthood and ultimately chooses to retain his identity rather than sever his past ties.
