Summary

In a serene setting, Ye Xuan arrives at Cihang Jingzhai, initially surprised by the humble thatched cottage of Shui Yue, contrasting with the grandeur of the hidden immortal pavilions behind it. As he explores, he realizes the female cultivators are proud and disdainful, mirroring their master, Shi Yu Xuan. After a brief encounter with Shi Yu Xuan, he learns he’s assigned to Wuguan Hall, which turns out to be the kitchen, much to his dismay. Ouyang Yan, a former rival, is now his superior there.
