Summary

As various scholars, including Wang Lun, arrive with competing interests, Du Yu remains relaxed, even while surrounded. Wang Lun boasts of his map and attempts to intimidate Du Yu but fails to find the source. Scholars recite poetry to attract the source, but despite their efforts, nothing occurs. Wang Lun mistakenly recites a famous poem, revealing his lack of originality, which leads to laughter among the scholars, highlighting the futility of their competition.
