Summary

Wang Wei, a Medicinal Pill Master, is approached by Ou Ruo Jin from the Sword Washing Palace, eager to recruit him due to the scarcity of Medicinal Pill Masters. Mi Xiao Jing, however, prefers to trade spirit pills rather than join a sect. After negotiating, they agree on a deal for refining Qi Refining Pills and Qing Shun Pills. Mi Xiao Jing learns about the Sword Washing Palace's subordinate status under the Chong Zhen Meng and the existence of rival sects like the Xu Ming Sect. He realizes the area's complex sect dynamics and the challenges of navigating them, especially with the ancient battlefield barrier.
