Summary

Ba Wen Jing, a promising talent of the Cang Hai Sect, is largely overlooked outside his sect, especially after his demise, with others more interested in his possessions. As Miao Yi and others divide spoils, news arrives that the Jian Li Palace, Jade Maiden Sect, and Beast Taming Sect are approaching. Miao Yi recalls past conflicts with these sects and learns they are united due to pressure from an Envoy to maintain their standings. Zhao Ling Tu warns that their combined strength, led by formidable disciples, is overwhelming. Miao Yi contemplates retreating but realizes his personal vendetta may endanger his allies. Ultimately, he decides to leave, seeking companions willing to join him in facing the impending threat.
