Summary

Bai Xiao Chun notices Xu Bao Cai's jealousy and receives encouragement from Zhang Da Pang. He defiantly claims he won't pursue Chen Man Yao, despite the admiration he gains from others. Xu Bao Cai spreads the news of Chen Man Yao's feelings for Bai Xiao Chun, causing a stir among the sect's disciples and even reaching the elders and headmaster, who view it as a trivial matter. Meanwhile, Song Jun Wan and Hou Xiao Mei feel threatened by Chen Man Yao's confession and decide to confront Bai Xiao Chun. When they visit him, Song Jun Wan is cold and dismissive, while Hou Xiao Mei expresses her affection and stays with him, leaving Bai Xiao Chun bewildered. Over the following month, Hou Xiao Mei and Song Jun Wan monopolize Bai Xiao Chun's time, preventing him from receiving love letters or attending appointments. Eventually, their presence diminishes the excitement around the love letters and Chen Man Yao's confession. When Bai Xiao Chun finally has the freedom to roam the sect, he finds no love letters waiting for him, leading to his despair. However, he resolves to meet Chen Man Yao, feeling it’s important to uphold his status as the young ancestor of the sect. He cautiously approaches her cave, where he finds her meditating. Upon announcing his arrival, Chen Man Yao invites him in, appearing alluring and shy, while Bai Xiao Chun's demeanor shifts to one of calculated intent.
