Summary

After the defeat of the barbarian tribes, the Youqiong Clan's guards, led by Suzerain Jian Cheng and Deputy Chang Feng, tracked the fleeing forces to the new site of the Yinghe Tribe. Chang Feng infiltrated the barbarian ranks, discovering their savage behavior and the difficulties faced by local noble families due to their pillaging. The leader of the Yinghe Tribe, unable to confront the barbarians directly, chose to appease them by providing aid. Chang Feng gathered intelligence on the leader's city, noting its defensive structures, which included a palace designed for easy defense but difficult to attack. He estimated the total troop strength of the Yinghe Tribe and the barbarians at over 30,000, but their combat effectiveness was low. After completing his reconnaissance, he returned to the Central Plains' main camp, where the Youqiong Clan's guards prepared for an assault on the new city. They established a supply line and launched a surprise attack on the unfortified barbarian camps, seizing a large amount of supplies and forcing the barbarian leader to flee with the main force.
