Summary

Su Ru Mei congratulates Gu Xiu on entering Dao and provides him with a private carriage for his cultivation, which sparks envy and resentment among other cultivators who feel he doesn't deserve such treatment. Despite their dissatisfaction, Su Ru Mei asserts that it is a rule of Wanbao Tower. Gu Xiu, unfazed by the resentment, accepts the carriage and shows gratitude to Su Ru Mei. Meanwhile, she discusses her intentions with Ying Zi, revealing she wanted to test Gu Xiu's strength. Gu Xiu, however, remains indifferent to the envy around him, focusing instead on his own goals. In his private carriage, he uses the green bamboo rod to fish from the heavens again and unexpectedly pulls out a creature that turns out to be the fortune belonging to his junior brother, Jiang Xun.
