The Cold Door Hero

Summary

In the midst of winter, Li Yan Qing and his friends ride donkeys to Xiao Tang He to admire the snow scenery. Along the way, Li Yan Qing struggles with riding, leading to a mishap where he falls off and gets his coat snagged by a passing carriage. A middle-aged scholar and his young daughter help him, but Li Yan Qing feels embarrassed. After reaching Xiao Tang He, he and Yue Fei split up from their companions to search for them. Li Yan Qing discovers a painful scrape on his waist and is soon approached by the scholar and his daughter, who express concern. The scholar insists on treating Li Yan Qing's injury, leading to him being taken back to the scholar's carriage for care. Due to his injury, Li Yan Qing cannot ride back and must lie in the carriage as they return to the county town.
