Summary

Ding Yi wakes up in an inn after a dangerous encounter. Wang Zhi Zhong explains how they returned safely. Ding Yi, still sore, awkwardly interacts with Wang Jia. They notice Wu Min Zhi's absence and find her unconscious with a fever. Suspecting infection, they strip and restrain her. Wu Min Zhi wakes up, unable to speak coherently and struggling violently. The group observes black blood vessels spreading from a wound on her side. Wang Zhi Zhong, realizing the gravity of the situation, asks to borrow Ding Yi's nail gun. Ding Yi and Wang Jia leave the room, while Wang Zhi Zhong stays behind to deal with the increasingly aggressive Wu Min Zhi, whose condition is rapidly deteriorating.
