Summary
Han Feng Xue encounters a young noble girl named Xiao Ling, who questions his choice to work as a fireman instead of studying. He then meets Old Chai, his teacher, who helps him with his studies and expresses a desire to learn the lute. Old Chai emphasizes the importance of understanding music deeply before using it as a weapon. As Old Chai plays the lute, Han Feng Xue is captivated by the music and the story it tells. The scene is interrupted by another noble girl, Ao Yue, who expresses interest in becoming Old Chai's disciple but is told she cannot due to her lack of talent compared to Han Feng Xue.
