Summary

Mi Xiao Jing, while cultivating, encounters an old man in a green robe named Wang Wei in his mind. Wang Wei, a Nascent Soul, is excited to communicate after a long isolation but annoys Mi Xiao Jing, who retaliates with mantras. Despite Wang Wei's attempts to assert his superiority, Mi Xiao Jing's two-word mantra causes discomfort. Wang Wei reveals he cannot leave Mi Xiao Jing's mind until he reaches the Golden Core stage, which Mi Xiao Jing finds daunting. Wang Wei assures him he can achieve this with his guidance, hoping to eventually regain control of a powerful treasure. Mi Xiao Jing reluctantly agrees to let Wang Wei stay, setting the stage for their complex relationship.
