The Tomb Robbery Chronicles of the Republic Era.
Chapter 35: Bamboo Tube. [104]
Summary
In a conversation among characters, Wu Lao Er uses a metaphor about a young widow to suggest ignoring the Ge family, who believe they have found a tomb map. Luo Si Wei reveals that the map was originally created by craftsmen, one of whom feared being silenced and hid it in a bamboo tube. They discuss the risks of tomb raiding, noting that craftsmen often gamble their lives for substantial rewards, as their families depend on them. Luo Si Wei warns that the Ge family's map might be fake, leading them into traps, and insists on exploring further despite the dangers, as the Luo family's legacy is at stake. They resolve to proceed carefully through a newly revealed passageway.Full content
