Summary

The story revolves around Ma Wan Fang, a Taoist master who secretly steals spell manuals from various sects under the guise of an imperial decree. He takes in a giant disciple, Tai Hai Dao Ren, who possesses extraordinary learning abilities. When Ma Wan Fang plans to make Tai Hai Dao Ren the sect leader, his original disciple Qiu Yi exposes his manual theft to other sects. Thirty-eight sects unite and attack Tian Yi Sect, killing Ma Wan Fang.
