Summary

Chou Han and the Ghostly Beauty, two ghost cultivators, realize they cannot defeat a powerful opponent and decide to observe him instead. They acknowledge their weakened state and the losses they've suffered. Meanwhile, Mi Xiao Jing, a cultivator, explores a treacherous mountainous region, discovering abandoned fortresses and spiritual plants. After ten days, he finds a human settlement where he struggles to communicate until he learns to use divine sense to understand the locals. They fearfully acknowledge his presence, mistaking him for an immortal. The chapter concludes with Mi Xiao Jing's newfound understanding of communication among cultivators.
