Summary

The narrative follows Mo Wuji, who discovers a ring belonging to a previously imprisoned cultivator in the Half-Moon Immortal Palace. He contemplates the significance of the ring and its heavenly-grade treasures, questioning the power of the captor who left it behind. Mo Wuji encounters Xia Mu, the son of a powerful temple master, and, after a brief confrontation, kills him to avenge his wife.
