Summary

In the aftermath of a devastating explosion in Yinchuan, Li Liang Fu is killed, leading to chaos among the defending troops, who flee in disarray. The pursuing cavalry achieves a significant victory, capturing thousands of enemy soldiers. Li Yan Qing enters the city, observing its military structures and the aftermath of the battle, including the capture of female slaves and items left behind by the fleeing Western Xia soldiers. He discovers a detailed military map of Western Xia, which he takes with him. As he explores the warehouses, he learns about the substantial supplies captured, including grain and weapons. Li Yan Qing meets with Zhong Shi Dao to discuss the importance of gunpowder and the need to keep its manufacturing secret from potential enemies, including Lord Tong.
