Summary

Liu Sui, the Zhao Wang, is summoned to Chang'an, causing him great fear after witnessing the beheading of Liu Pi. To show loyalty, he relinquishes military command but faces ominous signs during his farewell journey, including a broken carriage shaft, which foreshadows his potential doom. Citizens sympathize with him, forming a large farewell crowd, but as he delays reaching Chang'an, his brothers exploit the situation for personal gain. Liu Sui's fate is grim, as he is viewed as a traitor, and it becomes clear he may never return to Zhao Guo, facing a destiny similar to other fallen royals.
