The Gate of the Mysterious Realm

Summary

Shi Mu and Zhong Xiu exit a cave to find numerous members of the Wing Crane tribe searching for them. Shi Mu suggests hiding in a thicket, using a tattered green cloak he found to conceal themselves. Despite initial doubts, they manage to evade detection as a patrol passes by. After the danger subsides, they decide to head to Yunyi City but find their inn has been completely emptied, with no signs of the caravan. They then proceed to the lord's mansion, where they discover an eerie atmosphere and the presence of Hopping Vampires, former residents of the mansion. After dispatching the undead, they approach a grand palace within the mansion, sensing a stronger aura of the undead emanating from it.
