Summary

Ye Fei Yang, initially excited, becomes contemplative over the implications of a low-level bead auctioned for over 2 million. He questions the true value and the burdens of favors received from Qing Mu Tian Xiang and Liu Hua. When Qing Mu Tian Xiang offers him an empty bead and insists on the 5 million, he declines the money but negotiates a better share. Liu Hua arrives seeking to meet the bead's refiner, leading to a series of misunderstandings involving Ye Fei Yang and Qing Mu Tian Xiang. After an awkward incident, they agree on Ye Fei Yang refining beads daily, and he moves into a more comfortable living space at the Tiandi Pavilion, where he begins practicing the Void Step technique.
