Summary

Bai Ze, unconcerned with the sincerity of others, aimed to consolidate power by subduing families, particularly the Zheng family, to secure a future for a kind-hearted young official. Despite being only ten, Bai Ze was aware of his short lifespan and sought to ensure the young official's well-being. After a confrontation with the Zheng family's young master, Bai Ze demanded three items: a replica painting, gold, and clothes for a blind man he intended to help.
