Summary

In Woniu Village, Pei Zi Yun awakens to find his wife, Ye Su Er, beside him, marking the start of their married life. They serve tea to Madam Pei Qian, completing their wedding ceremony before heading to the ancestral hall to honor Pei Zi Yun's late father. After a heartfelt ritual, Pei Zi Yun decides to allocate funds for the clan school. Soon, he learns of an impending visit from the imperial envoy and prepares to escort his family back. Upon arriving at the state city dock, they welcome the envoy, who announces the Emperor's decree rewarding those who quelled a recent rebellion, including Pei Zi Yun, though he feels a sense of loss regarding the Emperor's influence.
