Summary
Wang Ren Gong, residing near a banquet, reflects on his past ambitions and the decline of the Sui dynasty. Once surrounded by youthful nobility, he now faces the harsh realities of aging and lost glory. In a vivid dream, he sees the Kai Huang Tian Zi and a bloodied Crown Prince, awakening with a sense of foreboding. His nephew, Wang Ze, informs him about the aftermath of the banquet and the scheming of the Li Family. Wang Ren Gong, dismissive of their ambitions, contemplates the dangers posed by old acquaintances and resolves to eliminate threats to his family.
